I hope you are well and that 2017 is starting off brilliantly for you.
I don’t know if I told you, but I became really sick at the end of the year. It started as a simple cold, but then turned into bronchitis and eventually pneumonia.
After 6 weeks, Scott, who has lived with me for almost 2 decades, was getting worried. He kept saying, “You never get sick. You are the strongest person I know.”
As I dragged myself through the holidays, I knew this would pass eventually with rest and medicine. I also suspected I might be experiencing an opportunity to learn and to grow.
As 2017 ramps up and I am traveling and making appearances again, I am listening carefully and slowing down as I speed up.
Watching my words, as they become my actions. Watching my actions, as they become my habits.
As your year begins to get busy, I invite you to join me in being a little more present.
Remember to fill your well first, so you can truly, fully enjoy your opportunities.
Choose who you spend your time with. Choose how and where.
Make your actions count, or choose not to do them. If you are going to show up, follow up.
For this Friday’s free gift, I am inviting you to join me for a free training on how to make the following up part easy.
Debbie Hoffman worked for 20 years as a successful investment banker. Her entire business success depended on creating systems that had her stand out in the marketplace. She has generously taken that experience and put it into a step-by-step program to help visionary entrepreneurs like us find our way with making our connections count.
Keep an eye on my “Where’s Laura” posts below, and let’s plan to connect in person sooner rather than later this year.
I look forward to being with you again soon.
